Hey Guys! So I was looking at some celeb gossip sites this morning and look at the photo I saw: It's nice to see celebs riding Citibikes and you know I love Leo but there's one little problem with this photo, which is that I was cropped out! I was riding along yesterday on my custom mini Citibike, made specifically for me since I'm the official Citibike model, (Here's the post where I shared that exciting news if you don't remember: http://www.applesthemule.com/1/post/2013/06/citibike-ad.html) and I just happened to ride by Leo, who was on a Citibike of his own. I wasn't stalking him, it was purely by coincidence, I swear! I saw some paparazzi taking pictures so I stayed riding alongside Leo so they could get a photo of me too. I'm not saying I'm famous, but come on, I am THE Citibike model! Anyway, I dug around online and found the original photo: Why in the world would they crop me out, don't we look fabulous together? Anyway, when I googled the phrase "leonardo dicaprio citibike" several photos came up. Hey Leo, you trying to steal my job? Hahahahaha, just kidding! Now get your long weekend started off right and enjoy these photos of Leo tooling around the city on a Citibike. And all you New Yorkers should look at who passes you by on a Citibike, you never know who it might be! Have a great Labor Day weekend, catch y'all in September!

Hi all! After my big night on Sunday I've come back down to reality and today's post is about a more serious and much more important topic: the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's great "I Have A Dream" speech. Looking at the pictures of that day made me think it might be another good opportunity to play everyone's favorite party game: Where's Apples? I challenge you to find me here: Did you find me yet? Come on, this one is easy! I'm even waving for goodness sakes - hahaha! I got a pretty good seat, wouldn't you say? Anyway, I wish I could have actually been there, it must have been an unforgettable experience for all who attended. Happy Wednesday everyone, catch y'all again soon!
Oh my God you guys I have the most exciting news! I got to go to the VMAs (MTV's Video Music Awards in case you don't know) at the Barclays Center here in Brooklyn last night!!!! Can you believe it? Here's what happened: I have this cousin named Ca$h Refund, he's a rapper and has some connections in the industry, so he got a couple tickets and asked me if I wanted to go. I had to think about it for a while....JUST KIDDING! Hahahaha! Of course I said yes right away. I'm sorry I didn't tell you all beforehand but it was all very last minute and I didn't want to jinx it in case it fell through. Anyway, I had a fabulous time and met tons of celebs and stayed out way too late partying. Here's my favorite photo of the night: We got to pose with the most talked about performer of the night, Miley Cyrus! Isn't that crazy?! I'm going to keep my opinion about her performance to myself but it sure was cool meeting her. Oh what the hell. I think Kelly Clarkson said it best: Miley was like a "pitchy stripper" - hahahaha! Anyway, getting back to me, the dress is Versace and I gotta say thank you so much the people at Versace for letting me borrow it! So that was the excitement for my weekend, now it's back to reality. Have a great week y'all!
Hey there! So as you probably figured out I didn't see my celebrity crush Aziz Ansari while I was in LA since that would have been the first thing I would have blogged about when I got back. I had my hopes up because our host Amanda said she'd heard that Aziz lives in the same neighborhood as she does, Los Feliz. Well, I wandered around that neighborhood until my hooves were sore and didn't see him anywhere! I guess I'll have to continue to wait for that wonderful day when I'll finally get to meet the man of my dreams. But until then I'm gonna "treat myself" and imagine what it would be like if we spent a day together treating ourselves. If you're not familiar with the catch phrase "Treat Yo Self" from Aziz's show "Parks and Recreation," then get out of that cave you're living in and google it quick! Hahahaha! Our Treat Yo Self day would start out with massages at a spa...... How luxurious! Then we'd go shopping for some snazzy new duds.... In case you're wondering, yes, that is a Chanel dress and no, I'm never taking it off! Finally we'd finish off with a romantic dinner at a five star restaurant..... Don't we look so happy? Let me just say that those weren't our first glasses of wine that night - hahahahaha! Oh my gosh, what a wonderful day. Why can't every day be a Treat Yo Self day? Well, I hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend, and hey, why not go out and Treat Yo Self - I know I will!
Hey Guys, hope you had a fantastic weekend! After my whirlwind trip and a busy work week I pretty much just relaxed and did nothing and it felt great! Speaking of the trip, while I was in Oregon I got the chance to do a couple of photo shoots and I wanted to share some of the images with you. This first shoot (with the amazing photographer Rebecca Von Bovine) was out in the woods near the Oregon coast. It was so beautiful and such a fun shoot that I didn't even notice my millions of mosquito bites until after we were done. What can I say - I'm a true professional! Hahahaha! Have a good week y'all! Hey everyone, today I'm just going to let my video speak for itself. You'll understand when you watch. Hope you enjoy and have a wonderful weekend! Hey there everyone, did you miss me? I had a totally fab vacation and I'm so excited to share my adventures with you all! Today I'm going to show you some photos from the LA portion of my trip. I think I mentioned before that I had a couple business meetings set up in LA, (which went great by the way - hooves crossed!!) but I also had plenty of time to sight see, and I made sure to see all the big tourist spots. Here I am next to Kermit the Frog's star on the walk of fame..... Then I just had to put my hooves in Marilyn's handprints at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.... I went shopping on Rodeo Drive..... and to the Griffith Park Observatory..... Then went down to Santa Monica and went on some rides at the famous Santa Monica Pier. And of course no trip to LA is complete without seeing the Hollywood sign..... What an amazing time I had! Thank you so much to Amanda for showing me (and of course Junes and Brian) around! We had the best vacation and can't wait to come back! Hope you all enjoyed my photos, see y'all soon!
Hey Everyone! Well, my bags are packed and in a little over 24 hours I'll be in sunny LA! I can't put into words my current level of excitement, so watch this short video and you'll see exactly what kind of mood I'm in: I'm pretty excited, wouldn't you say? You should replay the video and dance along with me, it feels great! Hahahaha! Well, ta-ta for now, not sure if I'll be able to blog next week but I'll definitely catch you all up on my adventures in LA and Oregon when I get back to Brooklyn. Have a great week!
