Hey Y'all! I know this is a little late, but I don't think I ever shared with you guys how I spent my Christmas vacation. After my performances of "Gypsy" in Wisconsin ended I headed down to the Big Easy for a week. I love New Orleans so much - the food, the people, everything! I had a great time catching up with friends and seeing some fabulous live music acts, and I also slipped in a little bit of "work" while I was there. I did a photo shoot in the bayou with the fabulous New Orleans photographer Antoine Boudreaux, and here is a selection of images from that shoot: Pretty gorgeous scenery, huh? I had a total blast doing the shoot. Oh yeah, but there's one more thing, which I'm glad I only saw when we were done for the day and heading home. This little mule coulda been alligator bait - yikes!

Hey Everyone! How has your week been? I have been fab but busy! The couple weeks before Christmas are always nuts for this little mule and this year is no exception. I have a really cool post planned for sometime soon though so make sure you keep checking the blog! I bet a lot of you have a photo similar to today's Throwback pic. It's the good old visit to Santa! Here's my version: I forget how old I was here, maybe 7 or 8? My Mom loves Christmas and it was a big tradition for us to get dressed up & go take a picture with Santa. I somehow managed to match my dress to the seat that year. Cool, huh? Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend. I'll be busy with the final rehearsals for the production of Gypsy that I'm starring in at my old alma mater, the Sheboygan Conservatory. I blogged about that here: http://www.applesthemule.com/1/category/gypsy/1.html If you're in Sheboygan, Wisconsin next week be sure to check it out! And if you're not - lucky you, we're looking at highs in the 20's. Yikes! Bye for now!
Hey Guys! How's it going? Check out the new Kardashian Christmas card, isn't it wacky? The girl in the middle looks especially great in my opinion.... Hahaha, ok, you caught me, I totally photoshopped myself in. I heard that Kanye West used to photoshop himself into their Christmas cards before he was with Kim so I decided to do the same. Here's the entire photo below: It's fun to see myself all dolled up next to this most glamorous of families, but to be perfectly honest I think the card is pretty weird. I'm a little more traditional when it comes to my holidays and this card doesn't exactly scream "Christmas" to me. It kind of looks like a nuclear bomb got dropped on the Vegas Strip and they just sauntered up and posed in the wreckage. But hey, to each his own. I'll be sending out holiday cards this year myself but they're not quite finished so you'll have to check back in on the blog to see the Apples 2013 Holiday Card. Happy Hump Day everyone!
Hey everybody! How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was fab but since it came late this year I'm already gearing up for Christmas. Maybe you thought I was kidding when I mentioned in my last post that you were gonna see a lot of Christmas posts but I sure as heck wasn't! I'm going to make it my goal to get you in the holiday spirit too, so I'll start off with some photos of some of the things I always look forward to during the holidays: I love decorating the Christmas tree and seeing a big ol' pile of presents underneath it. I love sitting by a fireplace...... and snacking on some delicious holiday treats! I love ice skating and building snowmen..... And I LOVE it when this guy shows up! Well, these are just a few of my favorite things about the holidays, but don't worry, I'm just getting started - hahahaha! And just one more thing for today, I wanna wish someone a happy birthday. He's a very special guy, almost like a brother to me. He's not a big fan of birthdays so this might make him mad but I gotta do it anyway: Happy Birthday Chris, I'm thinking of you and I hope you have a wonderful day!
