Hey Everyone! My throwback pic is a little different today. Longtime readers of the blog will remember that way back when I did a couple of "Where's Apples?" posts. I took a picture and photoshopped myself in it somewhere like those old "Where's Waldo?" books. I haven't done one of those posts in I don't know how long but I thought it'd be fun to "throw back" to the early days of the blog and do one now. Check it out, see if you can find me: Did you find me? I'll give you a hint - I'm lying down. This photo shows people camped out to watch the free outdoor movie at Brooklyn Bridge Park. It's something I have done for years, and one of my favorite things to do in the summer. It gets really crowded though, this photo must be pretty early on in the evening. So I should actually say that watching the movies is a terrible experience, don't bother coming - hahahaha! Just kidding, plenty of room for everyone. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey Everybody! Boy that Superbowl was something else, right? I wanted the Seahawks to win and everything, but jeez, it was like the Broncos didn't even show up! And that Broncos kicker in particular didn't seem to have a lot of juice, maybe they should have called me - hahahaha! As an performer I always like to freshen up my material, so I'm constantly learning new songs and monologues. Today I want to share the new monologue I'm working on, which is from one of my favorite movies, "Waiting For Guffman." If you haven't seen this movie I highly suggest you run and get it right now! It's so hilarious and everyone in it is a comedic genius, but I particularly love Parker Posey. She's so unique and funny in every film she's in, but what she does in "Waiting For Guffman" is on a whole other level! This monologue doesn't appear in the film itself, but if you get the DVD you'll see it in the extra scenes, it's Parker's character's audition to be in the show. Anyway, here's my rendition, hope you enjoy! Hey Dudes! How's it going? Hope everyone had a good weekend! I have a cool video to share with you today, it's me auditioning for a role in an upcoming feature film! Most everyone knows that actors have to audition for their roles, but you may not know that sometimes those auditions don't take place in person. Sometimes the people auditioning are in a different city so you have to tape yourself doing the scene and send it to them. I had to tape an audition recently because the producers are out in LA, and I wanted to share it with you all. It's for a film called "Big Sky" and I read for the role of Rosie Mae, a prostitute who falls into a forbidden love affair with a local farmer named Pete. It takes place in the old west and will be shot on location in Montana next summer! How exciting, right? Here's my audition: Wow, watching that back it seems a little depressing! I didn't get a full copy of the script so I'm not sure what happens in the end but I hope those crazy kids work it out. Maybe they can just move to the next town over or something, there's gotta be a way! If I get the role I'll certainly suggest that and they better listen to me or else! Hahahaha - just kidding! Have a great week everyone!
