Happy Halloween Everyone! It's finally here and I'm so excited! First things first, I have to give a birthday shout out to my friend Amanda in Los Angeles - Happy Birthday girl, hope you're having a great day! I wish my birthday was on Halloween, how fab would that be? I'm going to the big Greenwich Village Parade tonight, which is my favorite thing to do in New York on Halloween. It's nuts down there on a regular night so you can imagine what Halloween is like! I'll give a full recap tomorrow, but for now here's one more Throwback Thursday Halloween-style post: This photo is from a couple years ago, the Halloween after the first season of Walking Dead aired. I'm a huge fan of the show (if any casting directors are reading this I'm available to come down to Atlanta and play the role of a mule zombie, hint, hint - hahahaha!) so I decided to be a zombie, or walker as they call them. Don't I look scary? I terrified lots of people that night, so I'd consider it a success. Anyway, I gotta go get my stuff ready for the big night, can't wait to show you all what I wore this year! Have a spooky evening everyone!

Hey Everyone! Isn't fall just the best? Here in New York it finally feels like fall and to celebrate I decided to combine a couple of my favorite things in the world: beautiful fall foliage and some of my favorite classic hunks from back in the day. Confused? Here's what I'm talking about: See? Hunky Brad Pitt in front of some breathtaking yellow and orange leaves. Best thing ever? I think so! If Brad Pitt isn't your cup of tea, check out this guy: Or these guys: But of course, if I'm making a list of hunks, I gotta include my current crush: Hubba hubba, am I right? Boy, that scenery sure is gorgeous - and the fall foliage ain't bad either! Hahahaha! Enjoy your week everyone!
In continuing with my anticipation of Halloween, here's another blast from the past Halloween costume. Can you guess who I was? I was Pippi Longstocking of course! Or to call her by her full name: Pillilotta Delicatessa Windowshade Mackrelmint Ephraim's Daughter Longstocking. Whew, that was a mouthful and a half! think I was 10 or 11 at the time of this photo and Pippi was a hero of mine at that age. I always wished she was a real person because we had the same slightly naughty sense of adventure and I knew we'd have the BEST time together! So how about you guys? Who were your childhood heroes who you wish you could meet? I'd love to hear all about it. Have a great weekend!
Hey everyone! It's an exciting day here on the blog, it's my five month anniversary of blogging! I know people don't necessary celebrate five month anniversaries, but I was just so excited I couldn't wait another month or seven months to celebrate. If you know anything about me you know I love to party so let the partying begin! Hahaha! Thank you to everyone who checks in to see what I'm up to, your support means the world to this little mule! It's also an exciting day because my agent just e-mailed me a photo of the Colgate print ad that I did a photo shoot for a while back. I think the finished product looks fab, what do you think? Glad I can make some money off my teeth, I know they're big so I work hard to keep them lookin' good! Thanks again for reading & catch y'all later!
Hey Guys, how's it going? Did anyone hear about that e-mail that Sir Anthony Hopkins sent to Bryan Cranston, the star of "Breaking Bad," praising him for his work on the show? If not, here's a link to the full e-mail, it is amazing! http://www.uproxx.com/tv/2013/10/anthony-hopkins-wrote-fan-letter-bryan-cranston-breaking-bad-team-binge-watching/ In fact, I was so struck by this e-mail that I decided to write an e-mail of my own - to Mister Hopkins! Watch below to see me read my full e-mail aloud and have a great Monday! Hey Y'all, I know you were waiting all week and it's finally here: In keeping with yesterday's Halloween theme I'm going to post a throwback Halloween picture, and this one is going waaaaay back: Do you get it? I'm a baby carrot!!! Hahahhaha! And I was just a baby back then so I can't take responsibility for the clever costume, it was my Mom's idea so thanks Mom! Have a great weekend everyone, and remember the advice I gave in my last post: stay away from the slutty costumes!
Hey Guys! It's that time of year again, and by that I mean it's time to choose your Halloween costume! Halloween has always been my favorite holiday, the combination of costumes and candy just can't be beat! But I gotta bring something up here that I am NOT a fan of: the trend of "ladies" wearing inappropriately sexy costumes. I'm not a prude, I don't mind sexy costumes in general, I'm talking about the kind of sexy costumes that make no sense whatsoever. Exhibit A: Sexy Ketchup? Really people? That's fine if you wanna be a condiment as a costume, I encourage you to be whatever condiment you want - mustard, relish, whatever! But if you do it, do it right & get a costume that's big enough. I don't remember ever seeing a pair of legs sticking out of the bottom of a ketchup bottle! Exhibit B: This one doesn't need much explanation, it's just gross. Babies are not sexy for crying out loud - they're babies! Exhibit C: Sexy Elmo - why?! Elmo is one of my favorite creatures of all time. I love Elmo! He is sweet, adorable, funny and charming, but sexy he is not, and I'm sure he doesn't appreciate being portrayed in this way. This goes for all the rest of the Sesame Street gang too, by the way. There's no need for a sexy Big Bird or a Sexy Cookie Monster or a sexy Oscar the Grouch costume (all of which exist by the way) - it's just wrong! Exhibit D: Talk about wrong: a sexy Amelia Earhart costume. I mean jeez, this woman achieved so much and now is being disrespected posthumously with this ridiculous portrayal! What's next? Sexy Susan B. Anthony? Sexy Harriet Tubman? Sexy Eleanor Roosevelt? Where does it end people?!
Anyway, I hope this post brings awareness to this important issue. And ladies, if you're out costume shopping and find yourself reaching for something inappropriately sexy, just remember: This is supposed to be a kid's holiday you pervert! Put some clothes on! Hahahaha! Hello everyone, happy Monday! I have some very exciting news! I am thrilled to announce that my alma mater, the Sheboygan Conservatory has asked me to star as Gypsy Rose Lee in their upcoming production of Gypsy! This is such an honor, everyone else has to audition for their parts but apparently I'm one of their most esteemed alumni so they just flat out offered me the role. Isn't that wonderful? If you're gonna be in Sheboygan, Wisconsin the week before Christmas please check out the show, it's gonna be fab! And be sure to dress warmly, Wisconsin in the winter is cold enough to freeze your "you know what" off! Hahahaha! But for those of you who won't be able to see the show in person, I have a little treat for you: me singing that well known tune from the show, "Let Me Entertain You!" Enjoy! Hey Guys! I'm kind of tricking you with the name of this post because it's actually time for: My Throwback Thursday post for today features a photo of me when I was in middle school, 6th grade to be precise. I'm not gonna make you wait any longer, here it is: Can you understand why I named this post what I did? With those colors on, I look just like a My Little Freakin' Pony! And yes, that is a perm in my mane. Looking back now it kinda makes me look like a Hasidic Jewish man but gosh did I loved those flowing locks back then! And the rainbow braces were a nice touch too. Ahh middle school. Anyway, what did you all look like in middle school? Are you proud or embarrassed? I'd love to see pictures! Have a great day!
Hello Friends! Did you have a good weekend? As I mentioned in Friday's post, I had a relative in town, my cousin Grapes, and I planned to take him to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, but couldn't because of this freakin' government shutdown. Don't get me started on THAT again! We ended up having a good time doing other things but it was a shame that we didn't get to see Ellis Island because my cousin is really interested in genealogy, and informed me that we actually had ancestors come through Ellis Island. Isn't that cool? Here's a photo he showed me of our great, great, great, great, great, great (that might be too many greats) Grandfather with some companions from the Old Country (I'm not really sure which old country, you'd have to ask Grapes): Grapes thought there was a strong family resemblance, but I don't really see it. Anyway, I want to thank this snazzily dressed young mule in the photo for working hard and following his dream to go to America because he paved the way for me to follow my dreams! Now readers, go out and follow your dreams, if he could do it so can you! And Republicans, you better turn this government shutdown thing around, I'm not kidding. Don't think I forgot about my promise to go down there and kick your withered old butts! Hahahahaha! Have a good week y'all!
