Hey Everybody! Boy that Superbowl was something else, right? I wanted the Seahawks to win and everything, but jeez, it was like the Broncos didn't even show up! And that Broncos kicker in particular didn't seem to have a lot of juice, maybe they should have called me - hahahaha!
As an performer I always like to freshen up my material, so I'm constantly learning new songs and monologues. Today I want to share the new monologue I'm working on, which is from one of my favorite movies, "Waiting For Guffman." If you haven't seen this movie I highly suggest you run and get it right now! It's so hilarious and everyone in it is a comedic genius, but I particularly love Parker Posey. She's so unique and funny in every film she's in, but what she does in "Waiting For Guffman" is on a whole other level! This monologue doesn't appear in the film itself, but if you get the DVD you'll see it in the extra scenes, it's Parker's character's audition to be in the show.
