Hey Guys! Remember a couple of weeks ago I was complaining that most of what are considered to be the "great film monologues of all time" are performed by men? You can refresh your memory here if you don't remember: http://www.applesthemule.com/blog/you-cant-handle-the-truth Well today I have my interpretation of another of the greats, Marlon Brando's famous monologue from "On The Waterfront." If you're not familiar with this movie: a) I kinda wonder if you just emerged from a bio-dome and b) you should familiarize yourself with it immediately. "On the Waterfront" is one of the greatest movies of all time and features a sizzling performance from a young, hunky Marlon Brando. Mr. Brando and I studied the same acting technique called "The Method," so I may be a little biased but I think that when he's at his best there's almost nobody better. So of course it was a little intimidating performing this monologue, but I did the best I could and I hope I did it justice. Enjoy!
