Hey Everyone! I was going through an old box of keepsakes the other day and I came across a photo that I knew I wanted to share with you all. Back in high school I played Juliet in a production of "Romeo and Juliet." Here's the photo:
In case you couldn't guess, that's the iconic balcony scene and I was about to start the monologue that's right before Romeo appears. We put on a great little production if I do say so myself. The set was fantastic and the costumes were gorgeous. It was my first big role in a play and it was a wonderful experience. Unfortunately I don't have a DVD copy of it, just a few photos like this one, but seeing this photo inspired me to work on some of the material from the play again. You can never have too many audition monologues! I filmed myself and wanted to share it with you all. Enjoy, and have a great weekend!
